The Pesticide Chronicles
This podcast bring forth stories and accounts of agricultural pesticide drift surrounding central Minnesota, where one of the world‘s largest suppliers of potatoes are grown. The Toxic Taters Coalition, formed in 2014 is a collective of Native American and non-native rural farmers and community members defend the air, water, and soil from pesticide drift. They bring awareness through education and story sharing about the effect certain pesticides has on human life and the ecological system, and how to be active to fight industrial agricultural systems and supporting organic sustainable local agricultural systems.
